Cruise control modification project

My first car did not have cruise. That wasn't good.

My second car did. It was good. Very good.

I installed a cruise control system in sipper. It's a Rostra unit that has a wireless controller on the steering wheel. Many others Insight owners have done it with great success. Here is the information on how I installed it:

It took about two hours to study the documents, an hour to fashion a custom bracket out of aluminum to hold the cruise module inside the engine compartment, and about five hours to do the installation. I thought I did everything correctly but didn't get it to work correctly the first time. After checking over everything again I noticed that I had one switch in the wrong position in the cruise control module.

The cruise works very well and looks like stock. I'm pleased with the job and feel that it is money well spent.
